SKY i Bluetooth Multi-technologies Reader
Phone App has two versions:
iOS® version – Install in Apple phone, which shall require iphone 5s model or up.
Android™ version – Install in any Android™ phone, which shall require version 4.4.4 or above.
The phone App needs to assign a card number (authorization) before it works with the BT Reader.
Design Background
Bluetooth reader supports both Bluetooth + Prox And/Or Mifare And/Or DesFire technologies.
Bluetooth reader can set different reading distance from 0.3m to 5m.
Support IN/OUT reader configuration.
Password control in-Apps Reader Configuration Function allow authorized user to configure: the reader read
range, assign name to the reader, set different Access Mode(s) and IN/OUT reader mode.
The Apps supports Manual Activation Button when the app is running on screen.
When there is more than one reader within the read range, all the reader name will pop up on screen for the
user to choose which reader to activate.
The Apps show the strength of the Bluetooth signal being detected.
The Apps support to run at the background mode of the phone.
Support to set a validation period of the assigned card number to the phone Apps

Smart Phone App – BT Card
Terminologies
Show-to-Go: Show the Smartphone in front of the reader as showing a card.
Shake-to-Go: Shake the Smartphone from horizontal to vertical or vice versa (NOT turn the phone!).
Securities
Since Bluetooth does not carry any security element, all the communication data and data being stored
inside the Apps are encrypted with AES128. In addition, Following are the authentications that being
added on top of the Bluetooth technologies:
1st Authentication: Dynamic keys is use to authenticate both Bluetooth readers and Apps.
2nd Authentication: Reader will check if the Apps has assigned with the same Customer Code.
3rd Authentication: Reader will check if the Apps has assigned with the same End User Code.
